Update!

Normally after I finish a jam game, I completely lose interest in the project and never touch it again... well, today I got a bit nostalgic and played through my old games, and found that Motor Dime was much more frustrating than I remembered. It is, by its very nature, a frustrating game, but I realized that a few minor tweaks could make it more playable.

So I spent around 10 minutes today doing just that, and now it's possible to finish it without tearing (all of) your hair out!
